Paula Medina is a journalist from Colombia, committed to raising awareness through her reporting on gender issues, migration, persecution, inequality, and sustainable development. She has been a regular contributor to El Pa¨ªs, covering a broad range of sensitive topics, including child recruitment by guerrilla groups, child sexual exploitation, and femicide. She has collaborated with the United Nations to highlight the missions of hope and humanitarian progress in Colombia, Honduras, and El Salvador. She was awarded a scholarship from the Carolina Foundation to pursue a Master¡¯s degree in journalism.
