Frontier technologies are likely to accelerate these changes and need to be a part of long-term sustainable development policies. Moreover, with 65% of the jobs available to a child born in 2018 not yet in existence, we need flexible mechanisms to plan for the future of work. The General Assembly will have an opportunity in 2019 to discuss important research, analysis and policy recommendations on the future of work. It should provide leadership for sharing best practices, highlighting the potential measures to provide decent, meaningful employment opportunities, for youth and women, as well as persons with disabilities and the unemployed, while raising awareness of the economic and social requirements to achieve Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Decent Work<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":202,"featured_media":0,"parent":157515,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"off","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-161523","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
