Shaoxuan Liu<\/strong><\/p>\n Shaoxuan Liu is an Adviser for Sustainable Development in the Office of the President of the 76th session of the General Assembly.<\/p>\n This is the second Presidency in which Mr. Liu has served, after being part of the office during the 75th session, under H.E. Mr. Volkan Bozkir (2020-2021).<\/p>\n Mr. Liu is a diplomat seconded by the People\u2019s Republic of China. He served in the Chinese Embassy to the Sultanate of Oman and Chinese Mission to the United Nations Office at Geneva for two terms respectively between 2007 and 2018.<\/p>\n During his service in the Chinese Foreign Ministry, he was a Deputy Director of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences.
