Bogna Ruminowicz is an Adviser on Human Rights on the Human Rights & Humanitarian Team within the Office of the President of the General Assembly for the 77th Session.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Bogna is a career diplomat with over 11 years of experience in international relations and almost 7 years of experience in the United Nations affairs. Before joining the Office of the President of the General Assembly, Bogna worked at the Permanent Mission of Poland to the United Nations where she\u202f was responsible for the human rights issues in particular in the field of social and economic rights, gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment, children\u2019s rights, youth policies, rights of indigenous peoples, rights of persons with disabilities as well as older persons. Moreover, during Poland\u2019s tenure at the UN Security Council (2018-2019) she was in charge of the following files: Children and Armed Conflict (CAAC), Women, Peace and Security (WPS), and Youth, Peace and Security (YPS). She served as well as the Vice President of the Bureau of the Conference of States Parties (COSP) to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Bogna holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pozna\u0144 (Poland).
