\t<\/span>The Security Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Having heard<\/i> the charges of the representative of Lebanon concerning interference by the United Arab Republic in the internal affairs of Lebanon and the reply of the representative of the United Arab Republic,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Decides<\/i> to dispatch urgently an observation group to proceed to Lebanon so as to ensure that there is no illegal infiltration of personnel or supply of arms or other material across the Lebanese borders;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Authorizes<\/i> the Secretary-General to take the necessary steps to that end;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3.\t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the observation group to keep the Security Council currently informed through the Secretary-General.<\/p><\/div>\n
