As Chairman of the Group of Arab States for June 2010, I should like on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States to request, in accordance with General Assembly <\/span>resolution ES-10\/18<\/a> of 16 January 2009, paragraph 6, the resumption of the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly in order to consider the agenda item concerning illegal Israeli actions in Occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and, in particular, to examine the situation arising from Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
