Held in private at Headquarters, New York, on Friday, 25 July 2003, at 3 p.m. <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

  <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  In accordance with rule 55 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, the following communiqué was issued through the Secretary-General in place of a verbatim record: <\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t  “On 25 July 2003, the Security Council, pursuant to annex II, sections A and B of resolution <\/span>1353 (2001)<\/a>, held its 4795th meeting in private with the troop-contributing countries to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t  “The Security Council and the troop-contributing countries heard a briefing under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure by Mr. Julian Harston, Director of the Asia and Middle East Division for Peacekeeping Operations.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t  “The members of the Council had a constructive exchange of views with representatives of participating troop-contributing countries.”\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
