Official communiqué of the 4778th (closed) meeting of the Security Council<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Held in private at Headquarters, New York, on Monday, 23 June 2003, at 3 p.m. <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  In accordance with rule 55 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, the following communiqué was issued through the Secretary-General in place of a verbatim record:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t  “On 23 June 2003, the Security Council, pursuant to annex II, sections A and B of resolution <\/span>1353 (2001)<\/a>, held its 4778th meeting in private with the troop-contributing countries to the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t  “The Security Council and the troop-contributing countries heard a briefing under rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure by Major-General Martin L. Agwai, Deputy Military Adviser in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t  “The members of the Council had a constructive exchange of views with representatives of participating troop-contributing countries.”<\/span> <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
