\t<\/span>Having received and considered<\/i> the application of Israel for membership in the United Nations,1<\/u>\/<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Decides <\/i>in its judgement that Israel is a peace-loving State and is able and willing to carry out the obligations contained in the Charter, and accordingly,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Recommends<\/i> to the General Assembly that it admit Israel to membership in the United Nations.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>Adopted at the 414th meeting by 9 votes to 1 (Egypt), with 1 abstention (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland).<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n
