Resolution 233 (1967)<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The Security Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Noting <\/i>the oral report of the Secretary-General in this situation,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having heard<\/i> the statements made in the Council,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Concerned<\/i> at the outbreak of fighting and with the menacing situation in the Near East,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Calls upon<\/i> the Governments concerned to take forthwith as a first step all measures for an immediate cease-fire and for a cessation of all military activities in the area;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the Secretary-General to keep the Council promptly and currently informed on the situation.<\/p><\/div>\n
