  I have the honour to inform you that I received a letter, dated 5 August 2005, addressed to the Chairman of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People from the Permanent Representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Nations, Mr. Fermín Toro Jiménez, informing me of the wish of his country to take part, as an observer, in the work of the Committee (see annex). <\/p><\/div>\n

  The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, at its 289th meeting, held on 10 November 2005, approved this request by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and welcomed that country to take part, as an observer, in the work of the Committee. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  In light of the above, I should be grateful if you would have the present letter, including its annex, circulated as a document of the General Assembly under agenda item 15. <\/p><\/div>\n
