\t\t<\/span>Adopted by the Security Council at its 4998th meeting, on 29 June 2004<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>The Security Council<\/i>,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span><\/span>Having considered<\/i><\/span> the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force of 21 June 2004<\/span> (S\/2004\/499<\/a>), and also reaffirming its resolution<\/span> 1308 (2000)<\/a> of 17 July 2000,<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span><\/span>Calls upon<\/i><\/span> the parties concerned to implement immediately its resolution <\/span>338 (1973) <\/a>of 22 October 1973;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Decides<\/i> to renew the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force for a period of six months, that is, until 31 December 2004;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>3.\t<\/span><\/span>Requests<\/i><\/span> the Secretary-General to submit, at the end of this period, a report on developments in the situation and the measures taken to implement resolution <\/span>338 (1973).<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>*\t<\/span>Reissued for technical reasons.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
