In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of December 2001 and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I request the convening of an immediate meeting of the Security Council to consider the extremely dangerous situation in the occupied Palestinian territory and take the necessary action in that regard.<\/p><\/div>\n
