\t<\/span>The forty-ninth report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, covering the period from 1 September 1994 to 31 August 1995, the text of which is attached to the present note, was transmitted by the Chairman of the Commission for communication to the States Members of the United Nations in accordance with paragraph 6 of General Assembly resolution 512 (VI) of 26 January 1952 and paragraph 4 of Assembly resolution 49\/35 A of 9 December 1994.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In paragraph 4 of its resolution 49\/35 A of 9 December 1994, the General Assembly requested the Commission to report to the Assembly as appropriate, but not later than 1 September 1995.  The Commission notes its report of 13 October 1994 (A\/49\/509, annex) and observes that it has nothing new to report since its submission of that report.<\/p><\/div>\n
