\t<\/span>I have the honour, in my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group, to request that the Security Council extend an invitation, under rule 39 of the provisional rules of procedure, to His Excellency Dr. Clovis Maksoud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotenitary, Permanent Observer of the League of Arab States to the United Nations, in connection with the Council's consideration of the item "The situation in the occupied Arab territories".<\/p><\/div>\n
