Held in private in the Security Council Chamber at Headquarters<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In accordance with rule 55 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, the following communiqué was issued through the Secretary-General in place of a verbatim record:<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>At its 4556th meeting, held in private on 20 June 2002, the Security Council considered the item entitled “The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian Question”.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>The Secretary-General and the members of the Council had a constructive discussion.<\/p><\/div>\n
