\t<\/span>The Security Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>Having heard<\/i> the statements of the representatives of Jordan and Israel,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having considered<\/i> the Secretary-General's note (S\/8561),1<\/u>\/ particularly his note to the Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Considering<\/i> that the holding of a military parade in Jerusalem will aggravate tensions in the area and have an adverse effect on a peaceful settlement of the problems in the area,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Calls upon<\/i> Israel to refrain from holding the military parade in Jerusalem which is contemplated for 2 May 1968;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the Secretary-General to report to the Security Council on the implementation of this resolution.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n
