Resolution 1520 (2003)<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Adopted by the Security Council at its 4889th meeting, on 22 December 2003<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>The Security Council<\/i>, <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span><\/span>Having considered <\/i><\/span>the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force of 9 December 2003 (<\/span>S\/2003\/1148<\/a>), and also reaffirming its resolution <\/span>1308 (2000)<\/a> of 17 July 2000,<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.  <\/span>Calls upon <\/i><\/span>the parties concerned to implement immediately its resolution <\/span>338 (1973)<\/a> of 22 October 1973;<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.  Decides <\/i>to renew the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force for a period of six months, that is, until 30 June 2004;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3.   Requests <\/i>the Secretary-General to submit, at the end of this period, a report on the developments in the situation and the measures taken to implement resolution 338 (1973).<\/p><\/div>\n
