I believe each time you bring parties together to discuss solutions it is a positive step.&quot; <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-top:10px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">As for the seemingly endless cycle of violence, the Secretary-General said that he thought it was a tragedy the bloodshed continues. &quot;This is why the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/pdfs\/1217FD6D7731896385256C9B004CEC90.pdf\" style=\"color:#0000ff;text-align:left;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">Quartet<\/a><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">&nbsp;has been very active in trying to work out a road map that will operationalize the objective of two states, Israel and Palestine, living side-by-side as everyone has embraced,&quot; he said. &quot;But you can only get there if you take concrete steps and define what is demanded of each of the parties.
