Pregnant, she goes to his grave everyday and weeps. She believes he can hear her. She lives in the hope that he is still alive.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">A mother who struggled to conceive two babies lost them both during the November conflict, in one air strike, as they lay in bed next to her husband, who was badly injured. Her counsellor says she has lost the will to live.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#160;<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;padding-top:8px;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">These vignettes show the human stories behind <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unrwa.org\/etemplate.php?id=1601\" style=\"color:#1f527b;text-align:left;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\"><u>mental health figures<\/u><\/a><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">&nbsp;recently unveiled by UNRWA&#8217;s Health Department. The statistics show levels of psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the Gaza Strip have doubled, compared before and after the fighting in November.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:center;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">***<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:8px;font-size:8pt;font-family:Verdana, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Of those patients treated by UNRWA for PTSD, 42 per cent are under the age of nine.
