Javier SOLANA, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), will participate in the International Ministerial Meeting on Iraq, on Tuesday, 23 November 2004 in Sharm el Sheik (Egypt).<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

The aim of the conference, hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, is to provide international support for the political process in view of January elections. The meeting will start at 10h00 at the Moevenpick Jolie Ville Naama Bay hotel.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

Just before, an informal meeting of the Middle East Quartet at ministerial level will take place. The meeting will provide an opportunity to examine the latest developments in the Middle East peace process, in particular in the perspective of the holding of the Palestinian Presidential elections in January 2005.<\/p><\/div>\n
