UN envoy condemns suicide bombing in Israel<\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

31 March <\/i><\/span>– <\/i><\/span>The senior United Nations envoy for the Middle East peace process, Terje Roed-Larsen, has strongly condemned the suicide bombing over the weekend in the Israeli town of Netanya, calling it an “outrageous and cowardly act.” <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

In a direct appeal yesterday to the Palestinian leadership and people, Mr. Roed-Larsen asked that they bring the perpetrators of the attack – which left at least 30 people wounded, several seriously – to justice and “act immediately to completely de-legitimize these murderous acts that produce nothing but misery and fear.” <\/p><\/div>\n
