He said that he had ordered his men to avoid fighting against the British which at this stage &#8220;would be a useless waste of force.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-bottom:5px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Groups of Turkish and Afghan volunteers had recently gone into Palestine, he reported.
