CABLEGRAM DATED 11 FEBRUARY 1949 FROM THE ACTING MEDIATOR<\/p><\/div>\n

TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL TRANSMITTING A REPORT<\/p><\/div>\n

CONCERNING FOOD AND MEDICAL CONVOYS FOR AL FALUJA<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>To the President of the Security Council:<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I have the honour to report that the third United Nations supervised and escorted food and medical convoy to Al Faluja, in implementation of the undertaking entered into by the Provisional Government of Israel on 24 January 1949 (document <\/span>S\/1227<\/a>), went through on 11 February 1949 without incident.  This convoy carried an estimated one week's supply for the Egyptian forces and the civilian population in Al Faluja.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
