Al-Othaimeen, addressed a written letter to UN counterpart Antonio Guterres, confirming the Organization\u2019s supportive stand vis-\u00e0-vis the Palestinian cause. He expressed concern over Israel\u2019s violations against east Jerusalem (al-Quds) population, and called on the UN to pressurize Israel, the occupying force, to cease its violations against the Palestinians of al-Quds and allow them to stand for, campaign for and cast their votes in Palestinian elections, in keeping with international resolutions and signed agreements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a non-United Nations document.
