To learn more about all ICJ cases related to the question of Palestine, click here to visit the dedicated webpage.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 15 March 2024<\/p>\n On Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April 2024, the International Court of Justice will hold public hearings at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the seat of the Court, in the proceedings instituted by the Republic of Nicaragua against the Federal Republic of Germany on 1 March 2024.<\/p>\n It is recalled that Nicaragua filed an Application instituting proceedings<\/em><\/a> against Germany concerning alleged violations by Germany of its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their Additional Protocols, \u201cintransgressible principles of international humanitarian law\u201d and other norms of general international law in relation to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly the Gaza Strip (see press release 2024\/19<\/em><\/a>).<\/p>\n The hearings will be devoted to the request for the indication of provisional measures<\/em><\/a> contained in Nicaragua\u2019s Application.
