Seventy-ninth session<\/strong><\/p>\n Item 48 of the provisional agenda<\/p>\n United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East<\/strong><\/p>\n The seventy-eighth report of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, covering the period from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024, was received from the Chair of the Commission and is hereby transmitted to the States Members of the United Nations in accordance with paragraph 6 of General Assembly resolution 512 (VI)<\/a><\/em> and paragraph 2 of Assembly resolution 78\/74<\/a>.<\/p>\n In paragraph 2 of its resolution 78\/74<\/a>,<\/em> the General Assembly requested the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine to report to the Assembly as appropriate, but no later than 1 September 2024.
