Annual Reporting Overview
Energy Compact reporting is a vital part of tracking global progress toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 and ensuring accountability across all stakeholders. Each year, all registered Energy Compact proponents—governments, private sector actors, financial institutions, civil society organizations, and others—are invited to submit updates through a standardized survey. This process enables transparent reporting of cumulative progress, highlights key contributions to gender, youth, and equity, and captures linkages to other Sustainable Development Goals. The 2025 reporting cycle features a streamlined template with new sections on equity and enhanced guidance on gender and youth engagement. Below, you will find a detailed FAQ to support you in completing your submission.
