This exhibition offers a glimpse into the daily work of United Nations personnel around the world. Featuring 80 finalist photographs selected by an international jury from over 800 submissions to the global “UN Staff at Work” contest, the images were contributed by UN staff from more than 80 countries and many different UN agencies and missions, such as FAO, MONUSCO, OCHA, UNDP, UNMISS, UNICEF, UN Women, UNESCO, WFP, WHO, and others.

Through these photos, visitors can see UN personnel in action—delivering humanitarian aid, supporting peace and security, advancing sustainable development, promoting multilateral diplomacy, and ensuring essential operations both in the field and at the Headquarters—capturing the diversity, dedication, and global impact of the UN’s work.

Organized by the UNSRC Photographic Society and co-sponsored by the United Nations Staff Union at New York Headquarters, the exhibition celebrates the UN’s 80th Anniversary and honors the people behind its mission.
