Dilara Hamit is a journalist from Türkiye working with the Anadolu Agency, based in Ankara. Her reporting spans international relations, conflict, and human rights, with a passion for challenging dominant narratives and amplifying the voices of those often unheard. She covers Turkish foreign policy and the Middle East, with a focus on the humanitarian aspects of war and diplomacy. Following the 6 February 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, she spent two weeks documenting destruction and human tragedy. Her work spans video, breaking news, and interviews, with a growing interest in long-form and investigative work. In 2022, she joined the thisisFINLAND Foreign Correspondents’ Programme, strengthening her commitment to ethical, people-centered journalism.
