Innocent Kiiza is a Ugandan investigative journalist with over a decade of experience. He is the Assistant Editor for Rwenzori Daily and a contributor to UgTribune, in addition to hosting a health talk show on UBC Ngeyafm. His expertise encompasses science, the environment, climate change, and health. As a fellow of the Reuters Institute at Oxford University and the Thomson Foundation, Innocent is a passionate advocate for grassroots storytelling. He consistently highlights the voices of vulnerable communities and showcases indigenous solutions to climate crises. He won the 2024 Isu Elihle Award and was named the second runner-up for climate reporting at the 2025 Uganda National Journalism Awards.
