Nicole Landín Jurado is an Ecuadorian journalist with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals, social, environmental, and economic issues through a human rights lens. She has covered a wide range of topics, including migration, climate change, oil spills, illegal mining, and the lack of basic services in vulnerable communities. Since 2022, she has been leading the Sustainability section at Revista Vistazo and América Economía Ecuador. Nicole was awarded the Y. Eva Tan Environmental Reporting Fellowship at Mongabay Latam. Her greatest passion lies in building connections with local communities and amplifying the untold stories of her country.
