Organizational Arrangements
In accordance with and , the inaugural meeting of the forum was convened by the聽President of the Council (Republic of Korea). The forum had聽universal, intergovernmental聽participation, utilizing the modalities of participation of the international conferences聽on financing for development.
On 15 March, the President of ECOSOC circulated聽proposals by the ECOSOC Bureau on “Modalities for the 2016 Economic and Social Council Forum on Financing for Development follow-up.”
