Reviving the Spirit of San Francisco

As we observe the 80th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter, this exhibit recalls the enduring relevance of this historic document, while inviting visitors to again embrace the ideals that united humanity during the creation of the United Nations.

The exhibit is organized and endorsed by the Office of the President of the General Assembly. It is in connection with the 80th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter (26 June).

On display until 12 September, and closed during the General Assembly Session. It will be on display again from 6 to 17 October 2025.

Through Her Lens: Women Rising for Peace

Through the lens of local women photographers, this exhibition captures the resilience, leadership, and courage of women and allies driving peace in 12 conflict-affected communities. Featuring peacebuilders, peacekeepers, and women¡¯s rights defenders, each image is a testament to what is possible when the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda is supported/implemented. It is in connection with the Security Council Open Debate on Women, Peace, and Security.

The exhibit is organized and endorsed by the Department of Peace Operations, the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, UN Women and the Elsie Initiative Fund.

UN Headquarters: A Workshop for Peace

The exhibition features archival images of the planning and building of UNHQ between 1949 and 1952 and photos of the recently renovated compound. The exhibition also includes photos of the recently renovated UNHQ (renovation: 2008-2014).

The exhibition is organized by the Department of Global Communication.
