"The Expert Group Meeting will serve as an important platform for advancing the Food Stockholding Mechanism under the Doha Programme of Action, transforming preliminary insights into actionable strategies. Building on emerging findings, the meeting will provide expert guidance and shape the final feasibility study.

This event aimed to explore the possibility of establishing an online university or equivalent platform to support online graduate and post-graduate university-level STEM education in LDCs.  More information here.

4 December 2023, To discuss the support provided by the LEG, GCF, GEF and other and relevant organizations, and the achievements and lessons learned by the least developed countries in the formulation and implementation of NAPs.

19 July 2023. Despite the trend towards more financing through multilateral platforms, Least Developed Countries (LDCs) still face myriad challenges to accessing sufficient resources to achieve their sustainable development and climate objectives. With support from Canada, UN OHRLLS conducted a study in late 2022/early 2023 that directly engaged with LDC finance and planning ministries to better understand and synthesize their experience in accessing traditional loans and grants, as well as climate finance, to advance national projects and programs.
