The Partners have produced a self-paced e-learning course based on training materials developed for the online deliveries.
The "Ocean Governance Capacity Building Training Program – E-Learning Course" is publicly available on the World Bank's .
Online Workshops
Regional workshops will be delivered remotely, and participants are not expected to have specialist knowledge or expertise.
The workshop are designed to provide an introduction to the ocean legal framework in the core modules, with an opportunity to develop knowledge in more specialized areas through elective modules.

Global In-Person Workshop (June 2025)
June 16-18, 2025, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) hosted the Global Ocean Governance Workshop which was delivered by the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, the World Bank, FAO, International Seabed Authority, Melbourne University Law School, and the University of Nantes. The workshop provided an opportunity for legal experts, government officials and professionals from across the world to strengthen capacity for sustainable ocean governance.
