The Secretary-General: Good Afternoon ladies and Gentlemen. It has been a busy day and, in between the plenary and the bilateral, we met briefly here to discuss the situation in Cote d'Ivoire.
I met earlier this morning with President Gbagbo and the other leaders you see here around the table with me.
This is part of a series of consultations that we have been carrying out in our determination to ensure that we stick to the time table that we established for elections in Cote d'Ivoire.
We have agreed that we will continue the consultations in Cote d'Ivoire on the 5th of July. I, and some of the leaders here, will join the five Ivoirian parties, including the Prime Minister and the President to continue our discussions and to see what further assistance we can provide them in implementing and sticking to the Road Map that all of them had agreed to.
So, until then, this is where we are.
