is partnering with (MLH) to sponsor scholarships for applicants who self-identify as Black or of the African diaspora to participate in the MLH Fellowship. The MLH Fellowship is a remote educational program that provides up-and-coming developers with real world hands-on experience working on open-source projects hosted by Facebook Open Source and many others with the mentorship of experienced engineers.
This year, MLH has made significant progress in advancing the diversity of its program – increasing the representation of Black developers who participate in the MLH Fellowship by 60%. It’s so important that diverse representation is present at all levels in tech and we hope to ignite real and lasting change toward equity and diversity.

In line with its commitment to the (SDGs), UNAI member institution Kayseri University in Türkiye celebrated on September 22 with a campus-wide event promoting sustainable transportation, reducing carbon emissions, and raising awareness about climate action. The event was also registered under Mobility Actions as part of the European Mobility Week initiative.
Goal 2 is about creating a world free of hunger by 2030. The global issue of hunger and food insecurity has shown an alarming increase since 2015, a trend exacerbated by a combination of factors including the pandemic, conflict, climate change, and deepening inequalities.
The University of Cologne, a UNAI member institution, is a leading university in teacher education. More than 10,000 future teachers are trained here for careers in the educational sector. The university works together with an extensive network of schools to ensure a symbolic transfer of cutting-edge research and real-world experiences. Their prospective teachers are equipped to become teacher scientists and change makers who craft lessons using quality and future-proofed scientific tools.
